Story of us/2003 Cedar Point
Cedar Point is the best roller-coaster amusement park in America. It's not even close. So we drove up to Sandusky, Ohio (Aug) to try it out.

Melissa loves roller-coasters, Cedar Point has 5 roller coasters taller than 200 feet. Not-going was not-optional. They also have a Water Park, but we never got to that side.
We grew up with Magic Mountain, this was much better -- a bucket list item was checked off. - 2003.CedarPoint5.JPG
"Best Amusement Park in the World" for 16 consecutive years from 1997-2013.

We visited this a few other times after this: Melissa loved taking people that visited us in Ohio. But it kind of ruined us for all other amusement parks. "That was fun, but it was no Cedar Point".

We got there early, and rode everything, some things twice. The lines weren't bad at all compared to many parks.

Top Thrill Dragster was a bit insane: 0-120 in 3.8 seconds - straight up, straight down, then stop. It was short but unlike anything else.

We tried on goofy hats.

We played in the stocks.

It was childhood regression therapy.
Their rides include:
- Classic wooden coasters that leave me a bit bruised Blue Streak, Gemini
- A little more kid friendly ones like a Coal Mine, Train Coaster, and a beginner coaster.
- Classics like a Corkscew, Hanging Coaster,
- Then you step up some of the best in the nation coasters like Millennium Force, Raptor, Top Thrill Dragster, Gatekeeper, and 72 MPH Magnum.
- And at least a 1/2 dozen others. If you're a coaster junkie, this is a must visit park.
