A Lansdale, Pennsylvania, resident was arrested when he crossed the border with a gun in his car. He bougth somethihng in a (Logan) New Jersey store, but despite a right to carry in his own state, NJ didn't recognize it, didn't let him off with a warning, and convicted him to two years probation & $100 fine (until pardoned years later by Governor Christ Christie (R)). |

The fact that New Jersey, California, New York are douchbags that don't allow reciprocity with neighboring states, is just blue-states being assholes. But come on. Not everyone knows, or even knows exactly where the borders are in many of those places. The guy had no criminal record, he had a right to carry, his high crime was failing to know about petty licensing restrictions that are probably unconstitutional (and due to be overturned soon). So the cop and a DA arrested and convicted him of possessing a gun without a permit, oh and hollow-point bullets (standard for self defence)? That shows the problem with the underlying law more than his actions.
