I did a soccer camp in the summer of '77. My parents tried to get me away for summers, weekends, and whenever they could. (I sometimes had that effect on people). But I had a great time, made friends, memories. And one of the last summers I had without a job.  +

A Lansdale, Pennsylvania, resident was arrested when he crossed the border with a gun in his car. He bougth somethihng in a (Logan) New Jersey store, but despite a right to carry in his own state, NJ didn't recognize it, didn't let him off with a warning, and convicted him to two years probation & $100 fine (until pardoned years later by Governor Christ Christie (R)).  +
Liz didn't know that her Florida conceal and carry didn't apply in New Jersey, so she was arrested and facing 10 years in prison for her mistake. Governor Chris Christie (R) pardoned her to get around the unreasonable law.  +
The far-left hates Koch brothers, and so [[Time]] distorted a tweet into pretending he's pro-bombing. He was actually mocking GDP measures and using bombing as an example that only destroys value, but gets counted as adding value to GDP. Almost directly the opposite of what Time claimed.  +
According to Time and CNN's breaking news, Trump likes 2 scoops of Ice cream, while everyone else at the table gets only one. Unvetted rumors of the President being an ice cream hound isn't news, despite CNN devoting multiple segments to it. This is an epitome of FakeNews.  +
Trump criticized European Countries for doding their responsibilities to NATO, they startled slacking on their obligations slightly less, and came up with more money. The Press, Left and EU blamed Trump for hurting NATO by pointing out their failures and demanding they do better, white NATO confesses they got $100B and stronger because of it.  +
Far-left Intercept has an article about an ICE detainee with Schozophrenia that complains about his suicide in custody. Misses the bigger point of whether the U.S. should have to be the worlds mental institution. They were offended that Trump complained that some of these folks aren't the best and brightest that Mexico has to offer.  +
"The Cruelty Is the Point: President Trump and his supporters find community by rejoicing in the suffering of those they hate and fear" is a perfect example of Atlantics biases, claiming Trump supporters like hurting people. Yet it does what it claims the other side does, and ignores the real motives; the these policies stop hurting people and help more than the status quo.  +
Politico (Jack Shafer) wrote a Pence hit piece claiming that "the human mannequin" was retooled as foreign representative, "despite his scant foreign policy experience". Then it was pointed out that he was on the "House Foreign Affairs Committee for a decade while a member of Congress". Or about 10x the combined experience of Hillary and Barack combined.  +
The Mueller Report showed that there was no hint at collusion by Trump or his team, it was a Hillary funded hoax, that was used to obstruct Trump and undermine our Democracy, start illegal investigations and wiretapping, distract from helping America and our interests, and keep the media occupied repeating criminal disinformation.  +
Insider exposes Google's partisan plan to prevent “Trump situation” in 2020 on Hidden Cam video. Jen Gennai (head of “Responsible Innovation”) admits they're partisan and manipulating the public to prevent Trump, they suppressed truthful "right-wingers", they manipulated their machine learning (Search results) to further left leaning agendas.  +

The federally mandated 55 MPH speed limit failed at every goal. It saved 1/4th the oil promised ($350M), but it cost $3.65B in enforcement. We went from 70% speed limits compliance to 90% non-compliance. Accidents and fatalities were flat, but declined when we raised speed limits later. Bitter legal/constitutional fights wasted $ millions and decades of court time.  +

The first thing to remember about affordable housing, is that it isn't. What affordable housing does is that it decreases supply and increases costs for the many, in order to cherry pick a few that it helps. I'm happy for the few, but I'm not usually willing to hurt the many to do it.  +

During the mid 2000's it was popular among the dim of wit, and big of mouth, to claim that Saddam was created by America. That kind of rhetoric tends to come from the uninformed, the trolls, or both. Saddam was never "our boy" like some claim.  +
How art valuations can work. Not all of them work this way, but certainly, some do. Or they work based on hype, and then others won't sell unless they get a hype price in the future. Since only people that believe the hype are involved in some of this market, it's a self-fulfilling hysteria/mania.  +
Atlantic finds some far-left anti-American law professor talking head to ignore the thousands of people Obama drone bombed, and complain that Trump killed one, with far more justification -- and thus Trump was wrong to not get congressional approval first. Pick one standard please. If Trump was wrong, then Obama should be in gitmo.  +

My wife’s wanted to see Beauty and the Beast for her birthday. (I wanted to go too). The live action version of an animated classic was sort of on the must see list. It did not disappoint. It got a 71% by reviewers on Rotten Tomatoes but 85% viewer scores, and the reason both were that low is likely that the snowflakes were melting over traditional gender roles, and others got bent over some gay references. Puhlease.  +
Whether you are a Christian or not, there are things you can learn for the Bible, if you want to. I have read the Bible a few times, but also read information about the Bible and its origins, and I enjoy discussing these subjects with people far more educated than myself. These are my opinions on the history and origins of the Bible.  +
Orwell's 1984 warned of Big Brother (and the ministry of truth) watching and controlling people. (Surveillance State).  +
